How it works
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Reduce — Pack multiple connections onto a single Hankey. No paper, no waste.
Reuse — Reprogram your Hankey anytime for new events, new startups, new chapters.
Recycle— Send broken Hankeys back to us and we'll restore them: 9b Atkin Avenue, Mission Bay, Auckland.
What are Hankeys?
Hankeys are NFC wearables — wristbands, keychains, and lanyard tags. They require no battery or charging and are built for live events and always-on ambassadors.
Using your Hankey
- 1
Tap to connect
Hold your Hankey near the back of any NFC-enabled phone. The connection opens instantly in their browser — no app required on their side.
- 2
Link to your account
Scan your Hankey with your own phone to link it to your Hanki account. Once linked, your card shows when others tap it.
- 3
Wear it anywhere
Attach to your lanyard, wristband, or keychain. Tap wrist-to-wrist or wearable-to-phone when phones stay in pockets.
- 4
Track connections
Every tap is tracked anonymously. See who interacted with your Hankey and how introductions ripple through the network.
Tips
- • Works with iPhones (XS and later) and most Android phones
- • No pairing or app needed on the receiver's end — just tap and go
- • Update your card anytime and the Hankey always shows the latest version
- • Customise your Hankey — stickers, paint, whatever you like
